Sweet Poison Riddim arrived in 2023 from Steppa Entertainment, a five-track dancehall project that pairs Kemis Kurio’s Poison, Stratigy’s Trust Issue, Don Millz’s Crime Activity, Klodhex’s Zero Degrees, and Danrich’s Weed and Hennessy. The release keeps a tight, concise format at just five cuts, giving it a focused showcase feel rather than a long compilation. Steppa Entertainment, run by Howard Rose aka Escadon, has been building out a steady run of reggae and dancehall projects, and this one continues that approach with a mix of sharp titles and a small but varied artist lineup.
