Royal Dynasty Records has Wangu Mobstar leaning into a quick-hit ZimDancehall set here, and Stage One Riddim keeps its footprint tight at eight tracks and just over 20 minutes. The line-up moves through Blot, Buyaka, Mcb Chibreaker, Empress Cici, Martin Yudah, Silent Killer and Stylish, with the instrumental tucked in at the end, so the pace never really lets up. It feels voiced for singjay energy and street-level grit rather than big crossover polish, with “Fire Burn Ting” and “Yesayh” pushing the hardest on attitude while “Ndianiko” and “Daira” keep the hooks sharp. Mobstar keeps the rhythm lean and percussive, leaving enough space for each artist to cut through, but it’s Silent Killer’s turn that lands with the most force and leaves the deepest mark.
