The Stag Riddim came through in 2012 with seven soca cuts and no wasted space, carrying a brisk, party-first feel that suits carnival season without getting too glossy. Bunji Garlin’s “Touchless” and Kes The Band’s “Bring It To Meh” give it the biggest lift, while Fya Empress, Swappi 4d and Duce Man keep the energy moving across the set. There’s no single producer name to latch onto here, just a straight various-artists rollout, which fits the way the tracks are sequenced: one vocal after another, each tune getting its own turn before the riddim closes on First Klase’s self-titled version.
