Yung Miami’s “Spend Dat” has already lived a few lives, and this
international remix pushes the record further into dancefloor
territory by linking Miami with Shenseea, Vybz Kartel and Davido.
The original landed in April 2026, issued through Yung Miami LLC
under exclusive license to UMG Recordings, with J White Did It
handling production. It came off like a flashy, bass-heavy flex
record, all money talk and stripped-down, chant-ready hooks
designed for clubs and social media alike.
That frame suits the remix too. Yung Miami,
best known as one half of City Girls and as a solo voice with a
sharp, Miami-born swagger, keeps the record in party mode. Shenseea
brings her Jamaican pop-dancehall polish and sly melodic bounce, a
style that has made her one of the most visible crossover names out
of the island. Vybz Kartel still moves with the clipped,
unmistakable patois phrasing that made him a defining figure in
modern dancehall, while Davido adds a smoother Afrobeats sheen that
widens the song’s reach without softening its edge.
J White Did It’s production gives the track
its spine: taut drums, deep low-end pressure, and a rhythm that
leaves room for each guest to work the pocket differently. It’s
less about lyrical depth than attitude, wealth, swagger, and
regional chemistry. That mix has helped “Spend Dat” travel fast,
and this remix feels aimed at clubs from Kingston to Miami to
Lagos.
