Klassick – International Herb

Klassick’s International Herb comes through as a tight two-track single, with the title cut and the instrumental of “International Stage” keeping the whole thing lean and to the point. The vocal version rides a midtempo reggae groove that leaves plenty of room for Klassick’s phrasing, while DJ Kurt Riley and Jambian Music shape the production with a clean, modern finish that still feels rooted in sound system tradition. At just over four minutes, “International Herb” does the talking without any extra padding, and the closing instrumental lets the rhythm breathe on its own, giving the release a neat little dubwise finish.
