Feloni19 – Monsta Creature

Feloni19 comes in sharp and unhurried on Monsta Creature, a dancehall cut that plays off menace and swagger in equal measure. The song circles that “monster” image without turning cartoonish, letting the title do some of the work while the vocal keeps things grounded in the rude-boy, pressure-cooker lane Feloni19 has been carving out through 2025 and 2026.

By the time this dropped, Feloni19 had already built a busy run of singles and feature spots, with records like Duppy Man Style, Too Mad, Mayday and No Secret helping define a voice that sits comfortably in the current Jamaican younger-wave space. The delivery is clipped and aggressive when it needs to be, but there is a melodic edge in the phrasing that keeps the tune moving rather than just barking at the beat. That balance is part of what makes his records work: enough grit for the dance, enough hooks to linger after the first spin.

Droptop Records handles the production, and the label has already shown a feel for darker, street-facing dancehall with the kind of lean, hard-edged sound that favours bass weight, spare drums and plenty of room for the artist to ride the pocket. Monsta Creature fits that mould well. It feels like a 2026 release because it sounds wired to the same energy driving the scene right now: direct, moody and built for replay rather than polish.
