Roman Stewart gives the title cut a warm, unfussy pull, and on “Silhouette” his voice sits right in that early-’90s reggae pocket while Shelly’s Record keeps the rhythm light on its feet rather than heavy and militant. Bobo General steps in on “Make Them” with Roman Stewart in tow, which adds a sharper edge to the set, while Louie Rankin’s “Vibes In Ah Me” brings a more talkative, streetwise flavor to close it out. It’s a small three-track showcase, but that lean lineup works in its favor, letting the production breathe and the vocals do the talking.
