DJ Seggie’s 1 Link Records gives Shot Gun Riddim a lean, straightforward 2016 reggae set with five cuts and no wasted space, and the title feels apt for the clipped, no-nonsense energy it’s aiming for. Zamunda’s “Nobody Know” sits right at the center of it, sounding like the kind of rootsy toast that can carry a riddim on attitude alone, while Iq’s “Get Gal Anyweh” and High Medz’s “1 Dollar” push the same groove in a more streetwise direction.
