Seven cuts, one pulse: Macro Beats’ 2010 Seven Riddim keeps the focus tight with a compact set of Italian-rooted reggae voices and a clean version at the end. Boomdabash open with the sharp-edged Nah Break Nah Style, while Brusco and Marina’s Un Po Di Tempe and Gioman and Killacat’s Musica keep the energy moving through a mix of sung hooks and chatty deejay phrasing. Julia’s I Know and Marina P’s I Try lean a little smoother, but the riddim really locks in around Marjas’ No Matter, where the performance lands with the most weight.
