Released in 2022, Sand Bay Riddim is a Dancehall compilation from King Tappa Music LLC that brings together seven cuts across a tropical, dancehall-and-afrobeats-leaning groove. The lineup includes Nando Griffiths on Temperature, Tishana on How Can You, King Tappa on Nookie, Tunes Lyfe on Get Away, Jhaya on Empire, and Brukout on Jewelorama, with King Tappa handling the title track as well. The project was billed as the producer’s first compilation album and was inspired by his Dominican roots, which helps explain the island feel running through the set. At just seven tracks, it keeps the focus tight and gives each artist room to bring a different shade to the riddim.
