Paradise Riddim – Rahim Records

2020 dancehall came through with Paradise Riddim from Rahim Records, a 10-track project that introduced the producer-label’s first rhythm and leaned on a bright, tropical feel with a party-ready bounce. Jay RXK’s Right Time, Cheese Lyf’s Island Zess, Phoenixx’s Forever, Prince Pine’s Look a Gal, Wxrship Curtis and Taomi’s Style, and Kosmic’s Life of a G are among the names that shape the set, while Twani closes things out with RooMan and Rahim Records rounds it off with the title cut. Rahim Burrell launched Rahim Records around this project, and he said the aim was to give upcoming talent a proper outlet, which fits the mix of rising voices on the riddim.
