Paradise Overview

When the Paradise Riddim fete mix dropped in 2012, fans across the soca world celebrated. The energy was contagious, and the songs quickly became favorites at parties and carnivals. People loved how the mix lifted spirits and brought everyone together on the dancefloor. Each artist added something special. Alternative Quartet opened the mix with “I Am Paradise,” setting a bright and lively tone. Beverley S followed with “You’re Not Alone,” giving the mix a warm, uplifting feel. Farmer Nappy’s “Drunk” was a highlight for many. Known for his hit “Big People Party,” Farmer Nappy brought his signature fun and catchy style to the riddim. Kerwin Dubois added to the excitement with “Wettin.” Dubois is well known for winning the Groovy Soca Monarch title in 2014, and his smooth delivery was a perfect fit for the mix. Machel Montano, one of soca’s biggest stars, joined in with “Drinkin’ Rum.” Montano has won multiple Road March titles and is famous for his high-energy performances.
