By 2018, ChillSpot Recordz had already settled into that busy Zimdancehall riddim-making rhythm, and Panomama Munhu sat right in the middle of that run as a 21-song compilation issued as ChillSpot Singles, Vol. 3. The beat has that fast, dancefloor-ready pulse the label was leaning into then, and the lineup moves from Uncle Epaton’s title cut to sharper crowd-pleasers like Nutty O’s “Boom Shelele, ” Bazooker’s “Mababy Akawanda, ” and Enzo Ishall’s “Chiita Kwacho, ” with each voice taking a slightly different angle on the same instrumental. It’s the kind of riddim where the hooks do a lot of the work, but the arrangement leaves enough room for the artists to stamp their own style onto it. The release was put out on 19 October 2018 and runs 59 minutes across 21 tracks.
