Orangeman Riddim – Orange Hill

Stylo G’s “Control Me” gives the Orangeman Riddim its sharpest pull, but Orange Hill keep the juggling moving with a neat spread of voices from Antwain’s “Wine It Slow” and Don Andre’s “Show Mi Your Motion” to Lisa Mercedes on “Wine Again. ” The cut reads like a compact dancehall set rather than a loose compilation, with a proper version tucked in as “Orangeman Version” to keep the rhythm front and centre. Orange Hill had already been active in the riddim game before this 2014 release, and the sound here leans into that late-2010s-to-mid-2010s digital dancehall feel: punchy, waistline-ready, and built for the dance. The tracklist also includes Doctor’s “Turn Up, ” which keeps the energy up across the sequence.
