Shengyen Boss, Shenseea, made her debut at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on Saturday (15 April 2023). With guest performers and a performance of her recent single Curious, Shenseea was able to get off the mark at Coachella, and I am sure she did enough to score another invite in years to come.
Dressed in an emerald green bodysuit, Shenseea pulled out all the stops, executing sexy dance choreographies while also being able to sing, rap, and freestyle. The 26-year-old Mandeville-born artist was able to bring on American rapper Coi Leray and Dominican rapper Tokischa. The pair performed their hit song Players and vibed with Shenseea on stage. In addition, Shenseea got to flex her freestyling skills and performed her new Locked Up freestyle, and was able to have a dig at her latest nemesis Eboni Ivori. While also being able to engage the crowd and have them sing along to the famous Akon chorus.
Step aside Spice and just accept the new heir to the Dancehall Queen crown. Shenseea can do no wrong and I think not even a scandal can bring her down. We look forward to her upcoming album now and her future collaborations with rising star Valiant and Kanye West. Just imagine what Kanye West and Shenseea can pull off. A sure banger right?
