65 albums have been submitted to the Grammy voting committee for consideration for next year’s (2024) Best Reggae Album Category. Voting for the final nominees began on October 11, 2023, and will close on October 20, 2023. The Grammys will be held in February 2024, and it will be interesting to gauge who will be the final 6 nominees.
The list comprises a host of Jamaican artists including seasoned artists like Richie Spice, Marcia Griffiths, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, and Anthony B as well as upcoming artists like Byron Messia, Blvck H3ro, and Yaksta. Non-Jamaica artists include Gentleman, Colie Buddz, and Mc Norman.
