2023 dancehall brought the Natural Zess Riddim from Kashwav Records, a six-track juggling that leans hard into straight zess energy with cuts from Father Philis, Jaxx, Trinidad Ghost, This Is Kash, Wayko, and Young Menace. Trinidad Ghost’s Bend off Yuh Back is one of the sharper standouts, and Father Philis opens the set with Telfie, while Wayko’s Control It and Young Menace’s Mary Yuh Lie help give the project a good mix of voices across the rhythm.
