Native Digitals hits with that crisp digital reggae pulse, the kind that leaves room for the bass to walk and the drum programming to keep a firm, almost skeletal drive underneath the chants. Saimn I opens with “Tell Me Nothing” in a measured, conscious style, while In The Name Of Dub and Iyah Ranks give the riddim its most memorable cuts in “Tell Me Dubbin, ” “Go Away, ” and the heavier “Go A Dub, ” where the producer’s stripped-back touch lets the echoes and low end do plenty of the talking.
