    Big Zim Records’ Naked Weapon Riddim landed in 2020 as a dancehall juggling with 13 tracks and seven different artists across the set. Shaneil Muir leads the pack with Tropix, while StarrrDoll, Lanae, BadDoll, Safiyah, Phenique and Tiffay each bring their own cut to the rhythm. The project is especially notable for pairing clean and raw versions on several songs, which gives it a fuller club-ready feel and shows the same riddim working in different styles. At just over half an hour, it keeps the focus tight, with standout moments coming from Tropix, Bareface, Come Around and Allergic. Big Zim Records keeps the lineup concise but effective, and Shaneil Muir’s presence gives the release an extra lift.
