Money Man Riddim – J-Yaad Records

J-Yaad Records keeps this one in a lean, money-minded dancehall pocket: crisp drums, a nagging bassline, and enough forward motion to let the vocals do the talking. Money Man Riddim came out in 2015 with eight cuts, and the lineup tilts toward hustler talk and streetwise swagger rather than flashy crossover tricks. Propa Dapa’s “Make The Money” and Lyrekally’s “Billions” set the tone early, while Kadarie and Knatch stay in that same self-made lane with “Money Man” and “Too Much. ” Bookie Member and Empress Aniya add a little extra colour, but the sharpest pull comes from J-Asha’s “Gyal Wine, ” which loosens the riddim’s hard edges without losing its bounce. Gransonn closes it out with “One In A Million, ” leaving the project with a clean, compact finish.
