The rhythm is linked to Jet Star in outside cataloging, and Glamma Kid’s cut appears there as a 1997 entry, which suggests the tune circulated before it was grouped here in the 1999 archive. That gives the release a slightly offbeat, dug-out feel rather than a big multi-artist compilation, with the Glamma Kid track doing most of the work. Glamma Kid, a UK dancehall artist, is the only clearly named performer here, so his version is the obvious anchor.
