A grainy organ lick and skanking drum pattern give Mad Organ its rough, late-night pulse, the kind of 2011 dancehall cut Curtis Lynch’s Necessary Mayhem liked to pitch with a little extra edge. The six-track EP keeps the spotlight on the song versions, with Da Grynch’s instrumental, then sharp turns from Maxi Priest and Tippa Irie on “Like This Like That, ” Million Stylez on “Milli Swagga, ” and Shabba Ranks closing with “No Disrespect”; the title track sequence also leaves room for Red Fox and Mr Williamz to lock into the same rhythm.
