Love Vibration Riddim – Upsetta Records X Loud City

Upsetta Records and Loud City Music joined forces on Love Vibration Riddim in 2018, a one-drop reggae set released on July 20 that leans on clean drum and bass pressure, bright guitar skanks, and a horn line that gives the whole project a warm, summer-night glow. Upsetta had already been active with riddims like Lion Pride, Love Jump, and Reggae Robin, while Loud City added a Seattle connection to the collaboration, giving the release a transatlantic feel without losing the classic roots framework.

Mortimer opens the selection with the title cut, and that choice makes sense: his voice sits naturally on the riddim’s easy groove, bringing a polished modern roots touch.
