Lag Bus Riddim – Rymzo

In 2012, dancehall riddims were still leaning hard into tight, digital patterns and quick-hitting vocal cuts, and Lag Bus Riddim sits right in that pocket. Produced by Rymzo, it runs just four tracks deep, with B’Clean’s “Dem Way Vanity” opening the set before Karamanti steps in on “Yu Can Dweet, ” one of the sharper turns on the riddim. Rymzo also claims a slot with “Wine Fi Me, ” which gives the project a more personal feel than a generic producer showcase, and Synnus closes it out with “Show Mi Face. ” The sequencing is neat and deliberate: first the warning shot, then the motivational flip, then the producer’s own tune, and finally a last pass that leaves the rhythm hanging without overloading it.
