La La Riddim – Stingray Records

La La Riddim from Stingray Records arrived in 2020 as a five-track reggae set anchored by familiar lovers rock and roots voices. Freddie McGregor leads the line with That’s The Way It Suppose To Be, while Norrisman’s Sweet Thing, Shema McLeod’s Oh La La, Jah Device and Michael Buckley’s Sacrifice, and Smooth’s Missing You round out the release. The project has a classic Stingray feel, with the label’s long-running UK reggae touch showing in the polished arrangement and the way it draws on a revived “La La” theme across all five cuts.
