Marshall Neeko’s 2024 King Jammy’s Legacy Riddim remix pays tribute to the digital dancehall era with a 13-track reggae set led by Gold Chains, Lauren Sutherland’s Digital Reggae, Gully Rankin’s Test My Sound and Tuffy Starr’s Good Old Days. The lineup also brings in Bad Card, Wayne Karson, Christ’elle, Anthony King, Jah Voice, Culture B, Little Kirk and Batch and General Dan, with the Marshall Neeko version closing out the sequence. Released on October 18, 2024, the project comes from a French producer who presents the riddim like a modern salute to King Jammy’s influence, nodding to the sound system roots that helped shape digital reggae and dancehall.
