By 2004, Junko Riddim was already leaning into that stripped-down dancehall formula: sharp-edged voicing over a taut, looping instrumental, with Gappy Ranks and A Katana carrying most of the weight across 10 cuts. The project keeps circling back to the same core idea in different forms — “All Night Long, ” “Blaze It Up, ” “J. U. N. K. O” — so the interest sits in how each singer rides the rhythm rather than any big rearrangement. A Katana gets the most room here, and Junior Dan’s “Watch De Band Coming” adds a different shade to the set, but the whole thing stays rooted in a dry, percussive bounce and a heavy low end that leaves plenty of space for the vocals to cut through.

    Junko Tracklist:

    1. Gappy Ranks & J.A Katana & Ile – All Night Long Pt2
    2. Gappy Ranks – All Night Long
    3. Gappy Ranks A.K.A Jacob – All Night Lon
