Jah Have A Way lands in that late-2000s reggae lane where the message is as important as the groove, and Black Pyramid keeps the riddim lean enough for the voices to carry the weight. Luciano’s “Disturbing The Peace” sets the tone with that familiar conscious urgency, while Norris Man, King David, and Perfect all lean into the same sober lane with songs about pressure, faith, and survival. There’s a little more lift when John Mouse and Isiah Mentor step in, but the cut that lingers is Singing Sweet’s title track, with its plainspoken plea wrapped around the riddim’s steady pulse. Bryan Morris closes it out with the instrumental, which leaves the arrangement itself exposed and gives the whole project a cleaner aftertaste than the title might suggest.
