Jab World Riddim – Hype Line Production

Released in 2020, Jab World Riddim came through on Hype Line Production as a six-track soca project with a clear jab jab carnival vibe. The lineup brings together Dezy X on Fete You, Playboy on Prestige Carnival, D’Regulars with Bill Gates, Candle on The Phone, Kronicle with Crazy People, and Squeeze Head on Jab Jab Santa, with the shorter tracklist giving each cut room to land. Hype Lyne Productions is credited on the EP release, which runs just over 16 minutes, and the project leans into a tight, party-ready format rather than an oversized compilation. Dezy X and D’Regulars already had other recordings around the period, which fits the lively, contemporary feel of the riddim and its Caribbean carnival focus.
