Jah Woosh’s The Wanderer, Johnny Clarke’s Everday Wondering, Joy White’s Feeling Time, and Milton Henry’s What Can I Do all ride the same laid-back but driving groove, while Rupie Edwards turns up several times with Feeling High, Free The Weed, and Irie Feelings. The set also includes deejay and version cuts from Mr Bojangles, The Heaven Singers, and The Rupie Edwards All Stars, which gives the release a nice mix of singers, chant-style vocals, and dubby instrumentals. Johnny Clarke’s Everyday Wondering is especially important here, since it’s tied to the riddim’s original shape and helped make Irie Feelings one of Rupie Edwards’ most enduring productions.
