Heaven Riddim comes out of the Kingston link between Frassout Records and WMG Lab Records, with a 2015 date on the release and 21st Hapilos handling the digital push on the tracks that surfaced online. It’s a short, modern dancehall juggling with five vocal cuts and the instrumental, and the project sits in the lane of that glossy mid-2010s sound: clipped drums, a clean digital pulse, and enough space in the arrangement for each artist to ride the pattern without overcrowding it.
Delly Ranx opens with Dead Beat Father, bringing the veteran’s sharp, talkative delivery to a theme that cuts straight to responsibility and consequences. Gage’s Gone Rip pushes the energy a little harder, and the way it was circulated alongside the riddim points to the song’s memorial tone. Ryme Minista and Shawna split Ready into radio and raw versions, which gives the set a different kind of weight; that cut works as the more direct crossover play, with the female vocal presence adding bite and contrast to the masculine edge of the other songs. Savage’s Waiting For closes the circle with a more restrained chant over the same backdrop.
Frassout and WMG Lab were already working the dancehall circuit as a small but active production unit, and Heaven Riddim feels like part of that run rather than a one-off experiment. The riddim’s hook is its simplicity: lean enough for juggling, polished enough for radio, and built to let each voice land cleanly.
