Haunted Streets Riddim arrived in 2020 as a Full Chaarge Records production from ZJ Dymond, the Jamaican selector-turned-producer whose label has long been tied to clean, club-ready dancehall juggling. Full Chaarge had already built a reputation for sharp, direct rhythms and for pairing current voices with tunes designed to move sound systems fast. This one sits comfortably in that lane, but with a darker title that matches the mood of the release.

The riddim has six cuts from four voices: Munga Honorable, Kash and Kaii, and Kapella Don, each appearing in clean and raw versions. The tracklist points to a project that was meant for both radio and the dance, with the same songs duplicated for different audience settings. Munga Honorable’s “Outside Postpone” is the clear anchor. The St. Mary dancehall veteran has spent years mixing streetwise writing with a melodic delivery, and the tune taps directly into the tension of being shut in and wanting the road back. It gives the riddim a topical edge that feels rooted in the moment.

Kash and Kaii’s “Style” adds a younger, more playful energy, while Kapella Don’s “McQueen” brings a grittier Montego Bay flavour and a harder street posture.
