Green Bay Riddim (2000) – Finatic Records

Finatic Records voiced Green Bay Riddim in 2000, a reggae set with eight cuts and eight different artists, led by Admiral Tibet, Junior Kelly, Thriller U, Screwdriver, and Wayne Jarret. The lineup includes I Can’ Be Sure, Good Tiding, Emergency, New World Older, and Youthman, with Glenroy Richards’ Wicked Can’t Run Away and Wayne Jarrett’s Youthman tying it back to the riddim’s earlier history. The project takes its name from a rhythm that first surfaced in the late 1970s, and Finatic’s version leans into rootsy, singjay-heavy selections with Ian Sweetness adding As I Look Up The Hills and Thriller U bringing New World Older.
