Ni Ni’s “You Say You Want Me” is the sharpest way into Greedy Riddim, a mid-2000s dancehall set that leans more on melody and streetwise chanting than on brute-force slackness. The cast is a mixed bag in a good way: Power Ranger’s “More Dem Get” and Raging Terror’s “One Life” keep the pressure on, while Ras Negus and Sirus bring a more measured, roots-leaning tone to “Hunt Me Down” and “Money Haffi Mek. ” Sheba’s “Can’t Manage” sits right in the pocket, but it’s Ni Ni who gives the riddim its first real hook, with a vocal that cuts through the bare-bones version cleanly. By the time Vigilante closes with “Gallist, ” the riddim’s tight, unflashy pulse has done its job, leaving Ni Ni’s cut hanging back in the ear.
