You can hear JRD876 pushing Galaxy Riddim as more than a straight dancehall juggling; the project runs through English, Spanish and Portuguese voices, which gives it a wider, more road-ready feel than the usual local drop. Xyclone’s “Beat The Blue Light” hits with that sharp, forward-driving energy, while Eyesus on “Everything Will Be Alright” leans into the brighter side of the riddim without losing the bounce. Rene Bonet’s “Be” and Gaza Kim’s “Bloodclaat Bwoy” keep the tension moving, and the Jah Fabio, Hydal and Yaw Faso cuts widen the circle even more. JRD876 also tucks in the instrumental at the end, which lets the production breathe and shows off the shell’s crisp, clean swing.
