Freeze Riddim is a 2025 Penthouse Records reggae release that pulls together a strong lineup of Apache Scratchie, Chaka Demus, Tony Rebel and Macka B, Cutty Ranks, Ian Sweetness, Sanchez, and Wayne Wonder. The set includes We Dem Wah, Jam Dung Life, Freeze, Bring De Money Come, Be My Lady, Let Them Know, and Whatever You Want, with Penthouse Musicians closing it out on the dub cut Freeze. It carries that classic Penthouse touch from Donovan Germain’s Kingston label, which has been active since 1988 and is known for shaping plenty of crucial reggae and dancehall moments. The combination of veteran voices and a tight one-riddim structure gives the project a warm, late-90s-style feel with enough personality across each song to keep it moving.
