Feeding Finga Riddim lands in that gritty 2012 dancehall pocket where the bass does the talking and the vocals come in sharp, with Tunesberg Records lining up 11 cuts from Etzia, Zoro, Jabaman, Norrisman, Red Fox and Papa Dee around the title riddim. Etzia’s “Own It” and Norrisman’s “Me Haffi Mek It” fit the set’s hard-edged push, while Red Fox’s “Real Star” and Papa Dee’s “Jah Jah Warrior” keep the energy grounded in veteran delivery rather than gimmickry.
