Diamond Riddim is a 1999 dancehall set from TMI Records, and it keeps things tight with just three cuts: Carlos Carlton’s Some People, Daweh Congo’s Diamond In The Rush, and Lady Killa’s Not In Love With You. Daweh Congo brings the strongest title track here, while Carlos Carlton’s tune is the one most often linked to the riddim in old vinyl listings. TMI had a small but active run around this period, and this release fits that raw late-’90s Jamaican dancehall sound, direct and stripped down.
