Decoded Riddim – Boss Raw Records

Boss Raw Records comes through with a sharp, high-energy soca set on Decoded Riddim, the kind of cut that leans on tight percussion, bright synth flashes and a driving bounce rather than any heavy studio gloss. Angie Maya’s “So Toxic” keeps the focus on attitude and quick-footed momentum, while Lyrikal’s “Whip Whap” pushes the groove a little harder and gives the riddim its most immediate pull. The strongest hook in the package is the closing trio track, “All I Want, ” where Patrice Roberts, Skinny Fabulous and Suh Raw meet the rhythm with the sort of easy chemistry that can carry a Carnival season tune. It’s a compact release, but the sequencing works in its favor, ending on a collaboration that ties the whole project together with extra lift.
