Da Route Riddim, produced by G6 Production, arrived in 2022 as a nine-track soca set with 11 artists across the lineup. The release features Ambi on MEGG, Big Sea on TapTap, Bronxx and Romeo on Desparado, and Prado on Vroom, with Prado also teaming up with Liquid on La Ni Fhum. Other cuts include Dan Yute’s Papo, Effo’s Fresh Up, Keenan White and Romeo’s BumBum, and the Mata, Bronxx and Mind Freak Rex collaboration Walk. G6 Production keeps the focus on contemporary Caribbean party music here, with short, punchy songs that lean into the kind of hook-heavy, road-ready soca sound that works well for the season.
