Covid Riddim (2020) – Miles Ahead Records

COVID Riddim came out in 2020 on Miles Ahead Records and leans into raw dancehall energy with nine cuts from eight artists. Pele Wong turns up twice with Die 45 and Lowe Dem, while Sikka Don’s One Don, Jahshawn’s Miles Ahead, Jayphlo’s Cheers To The Good Life, Dray Badz’s Kingpin, Molko Burna’s Gone Lef Dem, and Talburnz’s Dem Nu Bad help round out the set. The title track itself is a brief instrumental built by Howard Burke, and the whole project keeps the focus on sharp singjay lines and hard-edged street talk.
