Carter’s “Soak In” keep the set moving with the kind of cheeky, street-level energy that suits the title. The production has a lean, buoyant swing rather than a heavy bashment stomp, and the “raw” versions tucked in beside the main cuts make the whole thing feel like a proper working session rather than a padded package.
