Midway through 2016, Majah Label Music Group came with Cold Sweat, a soca-leaning riddim that moves on a lean, percussive groove and leaves room for the vocal hooks to do the heavy lifting. Konshens’ “Badman Party, ” Ishawna’s “The Message, ” and Vershon’s “Sexiness” are the cuts that jump out first, while I-Octane’s “Wine Up Your Body” keeps the energy pointed straight at the dancefloor. The project also folds in Antwain, Devin Di Dakta, Franchizze, Blak Diamon and a few others, with radio and raw versions spaced through the sequence, which gives it that classic crew-compilation feel without overcomplicating the set. Released in August 2016, the package runs 23 songs and sits at just over an hour and twenty minutes.
