Chronicles Of The Road Riddim feels like pure road-season fuel from the jump. DG Productions has packaged it as a Grenada-forward soca set for 2026, and the title says exactly what the music is chasing: that rolling, all-day-on-the-street Carnival motion. The instrumental and the vocal cuts all sit in the same lane, with a forward-driving groove made for truck speakers, flag-waving and nonstop jab and wine energy.

The most interesting thing here is how the riddim gives each artist a different angle on the same road theme. Cryave, who has been active on Grenada’s recent soca circuit, turns in Cannot Behave, a title that already hints at mischief and release. Runi Jay, one of the island’s more established voices, draws on the movement with Road Side Jam, a cut that sounds written for the back-and-forth of a parade route. Jonathan Francis adds On The Road, and that one naturally feels like a travel-and-fete anthem, the kind of song that keeps the momentum up between the cooler box and the crossing of stages.

L. E. D’s Jab Congregation is the one that seems most rooted in Grenada’s jab-jab identity, which gives the riddim some extra local bite. Showtime’s Jumbeh keeps that carnival pressure on, while TEV’s Chronicles Of The Road appears to be the title cut, tying the whole project together as a road-season statement rather than just a loose batch of singles. That mix of jab language, road chants and straight-ahead fetes makes the release feel aimed squarely at Spicemas energy, with DG Productions using a familiar soca formula but shaping it around a very specific carnival mood.
