Central Wave Riddim is a 2025 dancehall set produced by Reign Studio Zw, bringing together 19 tracks from 18 artists across Zimbabwe’s Zimdancehall scene. Ashley The Flame Queen and King Sholasho open the project with Rudo Rwaunondipa, while other cuts like Baba Gazebho’s Death Row, Logan Fyah’s Moving, Willie Bounce (Zim)’s Girl From Wakanda, and Wicked Wade’s Fully Starter help shape the line-up. At just under an hour, the riddim keeps a tight, uniform feel with most songs running around the three-minute mark, and it leans into a rooted local dancehall sound that gives the release its identity through the mix of youthful voices, catchy titles, and a strong Zimbabwean roster.
