Bro Gad Riddim sits a little rougher and more streetwise than some of Streetside Collage Entertainment’s other dancehall work, and that edge is exactly what gives it its pull. Released in April 2018, the 9-track set moves through a tight run of voicings from Amadii, Big Voice, Cidigi, Daddy1, Insanity, Rickey Teetz, and Sadike before closing on Teebone’s “So We Do We Thing” with Jahvillani and then the instrumental. Daddy1’s “Born Winner” lands hard in the middle of the sequence, while Jahvillani’s presence adds extra weight at the finish. The whole thing plays like a producer’s showcase, but not a bloated one: the vocal cuts are spaced cleanly, the instrumental is left for the end, and the order feels designed to build momentum rather than simply stack names.
