By 2026, reggae riddim projects were still leaning on sharp titles and lean song counts, and Born Dead Riddim fits that mood with a dark, stripped-back feel from Rise Up Entertainment. Bomb Cat’s “Dance Hall Bomb” gives the set its hardest early punch, while 45 on “Dance Hall Janky” and Noise Vibez on “Mad Dog Blues” keep the energy jagged and street-level rather than polished, with the instrumental left in to let the bassline and drum pattern do their own talking. It’s a small three-voiced selection, but that makes the production details easier to hear, especially the dry, rolling pulse underneath the vocals.
