Blue Moon Riddim arrived in the middle of dancehall’s 2014 wave, and Capital O Music kept it lean: five voicings and a version cut, all riding a breezy, stuttering groove that feels more playful than heavy. Fidelaiz’s “Whine Like A Gogo” and Franky D’s “Buss A Whine” push the party side hard, while C De’s “Style Ah Mad Mi” and Kitole’s “Crash” lean into the same loose-limbed, waistline-first energy. Marc B closes the vocal run with “Loose It, ” keeping the mood bright without ever turning sleepy. The riddim has that clean, uptempo dancehall snap that was all over the era, with enough space in the drum pattern for each artist to mark out their own corner before the Bluemoon instrumental takes it home.
