Blood Dunza Riddim brings together the classic 1976 Bunny Lee cut and later versions across Striker Lee, Black Art, Thompson Sound, Stars, and Maximum Sound, with the post centering on the long-running rhythm as it moved from roots-era roots into a 2010 revival. Johnny Clarke’s Blood Dunza and Prince Jazzbo’s take anchor the original side, while Roman Stewart’s Don’t Get Jumpy, Tappa Zukie’s Poor Man Problem, and U Brown’s Nuh Kill Fi Dunza carry the pattern into the late 1970s, with I-Octane, Lutan Fyah, Sizzla, Yami Bolo, and The Aggrovators showing its later reach. The rhythm was created by Bunny Lee, and the mix of producers across the different versions gives the set a wide cross-section of Jamaican styles across nearly four decades.
