Trucha Corporation’s Bass Riddim sits in that 2019 run of hard-edged dancehall juggling, with the producer leaning straight into the low-end pressure the title promises. The lineup keeps the energy moving without overcrowding the rhythm: Bigroots and MrSM open with “LNSL, ” Blaiz Fayah turns up with the sharp, hooky “La La La La, ” and TS follows with the punchier “Shotback. ” MrSM pops up again more than once, which gives the project a bit of internal continuity and suggests the riddim was cut with a tight stable of voices in mind.
